Thompson Hall



Thompson Hall has two PC labs and one Mac lab. These are located in rooms 115, 120, and 225 respectively, and are open 24-hours per day.

  • Thompson 120 General Access Lab
    • This lab has 22 Dell GX 110 Machines with Windows XP and standard software including Microsoft Office installed. Computers in this lab also have specialty programs for majors in Computer Science, Math, and other sciences.

  • Advanced Computing Lab
    • This lab has 6 Dell GX 110 machines, 5 GX 270 machines, 6 GX 260 machines, and 2 Macs running OS X. All PCs have zip and floppy disk support, and the GX 260 and 270s have DVD drives, and are all running Windows XP and Red Hat Linux.

    • All computers are running standard software including Microsoft Office, as well as programs used by majors in Computer Science, Math, and other sciences.

    • Note: Use of this lab is restricted to students who have taken or are taking upper division courses in math or science.
  • Thompson Mac Lab
    • This lab has 15 Macintosh systems running OS X. All systems have zip disk and CD capabilities.

    • All computers are running standard Macintosh software as well as software to be used by students taking science classes.

  • Electronic Classrooms
    • The following rooms in Thompson have an instructor machine with a projector and specific programs required for classes taught in them:
