Collins Memorial Library

The library has three computer labs: the Learning Commons, which is located in the main hall of the library and is the largest computer lab on campus, Gen-Lab, which is in room 034. Both of these labs are open during times that the library is open. The third lab located in room 118 is open for general use after 5pm on weekdays and all day on weekends.

  • I-Commons
    • WindowsDVD PlayerCD BurnerFloppy Disk DrivePrinter

    • The I-commons have 25 Dell GX 270s which are all equipped with CD and DVD players.

    • There are 8 Dell GX 270s with CD-RW and DVD players as well as zip drives.

    • There are 2 computers with CD-RW and DVD players as well as zip drives.

    • All systems use Windows XP, and have Microsoft Office 2003.

    • Machines 1 and 2 have Beilstein 5.0, ComIndex 3.8, and CommSearch 3rd Ed.  Machines 3-35 have Shazam Standard and SPSS 11.5.1.

  • General Access Lab
    •  

    • The General Access Lab has 16 Dell GX 270s with CD-RW and DVD players as well as zip drives.

    • All Dell systems use Windows XP, and have Microsoft Office 2000.

    • All PCs have Shazam Standard and SPSS 11.5.1 installed.

    • There is one networked laser printer, and one printer for use by laptops. 

  • OIS Tech Center
    • WindowsDVD PlayerCD BurnerFloppy Disk DrivePrinter

    • The OIS Media Center has a variety of different Windows and Macintosh machines that are used for media-related tasks.
