Operating System End of Life

The products listed below are at or nearing their end of life according to Microsoft.  ResNet will support these operating systems through the semester listed at the right. For Macintosh operating systems, please be aware that we support OS X and newer only.

OIS recommends that you plan to upgrade your operating system to Windows XP or Windows Vista.  ResNet will be happy to work with you to determine if your machine meets minimum requirements for either of these operating systems and make recommendations to bring your machine to those requirements.  The Office of Information Services additionally will be able to provide students with academic licenses of Windows XP for a nominal fee.  Please contact ResNet if you would like to pursue this option.

Microsoft Extended Support for Windows 2000 was recently expanded out to July 13, 2010. So long as security updates are available for this system we will continue to support it. More information can be found here.
